Thinking about going raw?  Studies suggest it’s definitely healthier in that your body gets more nutrients from raw veggies than cooked veggies.  I’ve never sincerely tried the diet, but here in Austin there are plenty of raw foodists and a few amazing raw food restaurants to make me think it may be worth a shot.

In this super-short video from nutritionfacts.org, we get some useful info about the difference between the plant enzymes in raw veggies vs cooked veggies vs the enzymes our bodies already produce; using the sulforaphane in broccoli as an example.
